Hey everyone! We occasionally get a customer call related to accuracy—in some cases, those customers feel that their pistol was not sufficiently accurate. However, we have found that those guns rarely have any issues in a Ransom rest and that the accuracy problem stemmed from shooter abilities, ammunition selection, or simple technique for how the gun was “tested.” Our experience has always been that offhand is rarely as good as rested, and neither are as good as a Ransom rest. Here, Trevor shares the simple technique he uses to shoot groups off a bench and check accuracy. This is not Olympic quality technique, but it is an honest view on how you can improve your groups with little to no equipment investment.
