Shadow Systems compensated guns are designed to function in adverse conditions. We prioritize reliability but still provide the most controllable, easiest to hit with pistols on the market.
The MR-P and XR-P compensator is a highly compact steel compensator that adds only ½ inch to the pistol. Consequently, both guns fit in existing G17 holsters. The compensator uses the patent pending QD attachment system found on the successful CR-P pistol. This allows for ease of maintenance and sales in jurisdictions that ban threaded barrels.
With this design, we eliminated the use of a conventional threaded barrel. Instead, Shadow Systems developed a proprietary 3-lug muzzle that works in combination with a centrally located locking lever in the body of the comp.
