We have long been disappointed by the low-effort pepper spray handle assemblies currently found in the market. These products also ignore something that most firearm users know: the fight happens at night.
Therefore, we designed the Nightfire handle assembly to incorporate the ergonomics, texture, and light-bearing capability found on our pistols. Adding a properly designed handle to an existing pepper spray product makes it a more formidable weapon that is very intuitive to use.
The light (NOT INCLUDED) can be mounted on either side of the handle, or not at all if the user prefers less bulk. When installed, the button on the bottom of the light is easily actuated with the off-hand thumb. Those who are familiar with a “thumbs forward” shooting grip will find their training carries over seamlessly.
All required mounting hardware is included with the Nightfire handle. The mounting ring fits most brands of penlights with a 0.5 inch main body. We also offer our preferred Streamlight model HERE if you would like to add a light to your order.
The Nightfire handle assembly fits large format dispensers on several popular models. See images for details on determining if this will fit you model. Dispensers that fit will also feature the patent number 9,216,853 embossed on the collar.
How It Works
Handle can be added to many large format pepper spray products without tools. A Phillips #1 screwdriver is required for light installation.

How does the safety work?
The safety on the NL-1 and NL-2 is spring loaded cover that protects the button from inadvertent actuation. The NL-3 models feature a pull-ring safety.
What lights fit the Nightfire unit?
We offer an appropriately sized Streamlight unit HERE. However, any penlight with a 0.5 inch main body will fit the mounting clamp.
