The U526 starts with what a serious rifle needs: a premium chrome-lined barrel, a crisp two-stage trigger, and an ambidextrous selector and bolt release. Then it leaves behind the weight that doesn’t help you make hits.
At just 6.2 pounds, the U526 is easier to carry, quicker to handle, and comfortable to shoot all day. Its hybrid-profile barrel combines tight-group accuracy with hard-use durability, while the intermediate gas system delivers a smoother shooting impulse both suppressed and unsuppressed.

The E526 brings the Shadow Systems approach to a more compact 5.56 configuration. Its 11.5-inch barrel balances maneuverability with useful velocity, while its 5.4-pound weight makes it easy to carry, move, and control.
Available as a pistol or SBR, the E526 features the same premium chrome-lined, hybrid-profile barrel, two-stage trigger, and ambidextrous selector, and bolt release as the U526. The result is a compact 5.56 that delivers serious capability when space is limited and handling matters most.

We Didn't Need to Build Another AR.
We get the joke. Plenty of companies make these things. But peel back a few layers, and you will often find a rifle that is heavier than it needs to be, less accurate than it should be, and dressed up with a slick marketing story and a premium price tag.
We started with the part that matters most: the barrel. Our lightweight, hybrid-profile barrels are stress-relieved before and after machining, then chrome-lined for hard-use durability. The result is exceptional accuracy without the weight penalty usually associated with it.
From there, we added the details that actually make a difference: a suppressor-ready, Plan B-compatible muzzle device of our own design—not another A2. An ambidextrous safety selector configurable for 60- or 90-degree throw and different lever styles. An ambidextrous bolt release. A crisp, 3.5-pound two-stage trigger. A pinned, machine-gun-grade gas block. And Shadow Systems’ own proprietary pistol grip, foregrip, and rifle stock.
We didn’t build another AR just to put our name on it. We built the one we would carry.
