The Shadow Systems Thread‑On Compensator is precision‑engineered to integrate seamlessly with MR920, DR920, and XR920 pistols equipped with threaded barrels. Designed to enhance shootability without sacrificing reliability, this compensator delivers measurable performance gains in real‑world use.
By redirecting gases upward, the compensator reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise, allowing for faster shot‑to‑shot recovery and improved control during rapid fire.
A robust clamping system ensures a secure, repeatable installation while avoiding damage to barrel threads. Unlike traditional thread‑on designs, the set screws interface with an internal clamping flange within the compensator body—eliminating direct contact with the barrel threads for a rock‑solid hold.
The conservatively sized ports are tuned for reliability with full‑power ammunition and are engineered to limit lateral muzzle blast, keeping concussion directed away from the shooter.
