One of the many factors that controls the weight of the trigger pull is the angle of the connector. There are many connectors sold on the market as “minus” or “3.5 lbs.” connectors, but they RARELY produce a 3.5 lbs pull, usually closer to 4-4.5. Meanwhile, most factory pistols break at 5-6.5 lbs.
Our connectors are designed to be right in the middle with pull weights of 4-5 lbs. in most pistols with stock weight springs. Perhaps more importantly, they are correctly tensioned to ensure proper pressure against the trigger bar to avoid slippage and “dead trigger.” If you want a lighter pull, you can consider a reduced power striker spring in addition to your connector, but test thoroughly as you may experience light strikes with some ammunition.
As an aside, we now machine (yes, machine) certain areas of the connector after stamping to maximize consistency and quality.
