Description

These sights are used in the manufacture of MR/DR/XR/CR pistols.  Our blacked out steel rear sights have crisp serrations on the back to eliminate glare.  The front face of the rear sight is high enough to allow emergency racking using the sight.

Our tritium front sights feature an extra-large tritium lamp to draw your eye to the sight at night.  The bright green outline reflects lots of light by day and makes the sights easy to track at speed.  Serrated black front sights give a crisp sight picture and do not distract your eye if you are mostly focused on dot shooting and regard the irons as a true backup only.

All MR/DR/XR models use the same 0.355” Rear Sight, however, front sight heights have varied over time due to manufacturing changes, different co-witness requirements, etc.

If you are replacing a sight on an existing pistol, you have a few options to determine the correct front sight for your pistol.  (However, please note, the vast majority of Shadow Systems MR/DR/XR front sights are 0.260”).

1. The best option is to measure the height of the front sight with calipers if you have some (most reloaders do)
2. Older generation front sights may indicate the sight height on the side (W20 = 0.220”, W60 = 0.2660”).  If you have a rare W40 sight, please call customer service to discuss options.
3. All MR/DR/XR front sights with the Shadow Systems logo on it are 0.260”
4. When in doubt, it is most likely a 0.260”

Note: All CR models use the same 0.297” Rear Sight and 0.220” front sight.

Note: Sights are sold individually so that you can pair your sights to meet your configuration/sight height requirement.  If you want both a front and rear sight, be sure to cart both separately from this listing.
