Shadow Systems Relaunches Patriot & Protector Program, Expanding Immediate Access to Duty-Grade Firearms for Front-Line Professionals
PLANO, Texas (February 11, 2026) — Shadow Systems, the American firearms manufacturer known for its performance-driven pistols, today announced a major update and relaunch of its Patriot & Protector program. The revised program enables qualified front-line professionals to purchase any in-stock commercial Shadow Systems firearm at preferred pricing through participating dealers, without special orders, separate inventory, or delayed fulfillment.
The update replaces the company’s previous dedicated program SKU structure with a dealer reimbursement model. Participating dealers now sell standard commercial firearms at the Patriot & Protector price and submit the transaction directly to Shadow Systems, which reimburses the dealer for the margin difference via bi-weekly ACH payment.
The change removes inventory barriers that previously limited availability for qualified purchasers while preserving normal margins for both dealers and distributors.
“It was time to make things easier for both the dealer and the customer,” said Trevor Roe, CEO of Shadow Systems. “If a qualified professional walks into a participating dealer, they should be able to leave with the pistol they need that day. This update makes that possible.”
Removing Inventory Friction
Under the previous structure, distributors and dealers were required to stock separate Patriot & Protector firearms. Because those products moved at lower velocity than standard commercial inventory, many retailers did not keep them on hand, often delaying purchases for eligible buyers.
The new system eliminates duplicate inventory entirely. Dealers now stock normal commercial Shadow Systems pistols and offer the Patriot & Protector price directly to qualified customers. After submitting the transaction through the Shadow Systems portal, the dealer is reimbursed for the discount.
Distributors benefit by consolidating inventory into standard commercial SKUs rather than maintaining program-specific products.
Immediate Availability for Qualified Buyers
The program now allows eligible individuals to obtain a Shadow Systems pistol through participating brick-and-mortar FFL dealers without rebates, waiting periods beyond normal transfer requirements, or special orders.
The Patriot & Protector program is available to verified individuals including:
• Active and retired law enforcement officers
• Law enforcement academy recruits
• Corrections and probation officers
• Firefighters, EMTs, and rescue personnel
• Military personnel (active, reserve, National Guard, retired, and veterans)
• Federal flight deck officers
• Licensed security professionals
• Judges and prosecutors
• School defenders authorized to carry on campus
• Forensic examiners
All firearm transfers must comply with local, state, and federal law and include all required background checks and documentation.
