Two years ago, Shadow Systems introduced the DR920P, the first compensated handgun from the Texas company. The DR920P featured a tool-less lockup system for the compensator, which avoided a threaded barrel, making it legal in states that restrict threaded barrels. Now, Shadow Systems is expanding their compensated lineup with the MR920P and XR920P. These new pistols from Shadow Systems will uphold the quality, reliability, and attention to detail that their pistols are known for. Let’s take a closer look at what the new pistols have to offer.
The MR920P and XR920P will feature aggressive front, rear, and top slide serrations, a match-grade barrel, optics-ready capabilities, enhanced flat-face triggers, and green tritium night sights. The P series also introduces Shadow Systems’ new slimline compensator with patent-pending lockup, as seen on the CR920P. The compensator features a proprietary 3-lug QD system which works in conjunction with a centrally located locking lever on the body of the compensator.
