Technical Tuesday – DR920P Recoil Spring Options

We have discovered that shooter technique and ammunition are more variable than we realized. We have started including a 15 lbs. (lighter) spring with every gun to give the owner the owner some options if they are having short-stroking issues. In this video, we walk through evaluating the type of malfunction and changing the spring out on the recoil rod in the field.

What’s the possibility of an aluminum mag well being made for the guns?

It is not something that is on this year’s release plan.

How about addressing “pin walk”? My backstrap insert pin moves every time I shoot. You sent me another pin but it still continues. After about 200 rounds it pokes right out. The gun is a MR920 SSC0764XX.

    Thanks

Is it ok to interchange the slide, barrel and spring of a DR920P with the frame of a MR920L. Everything seems to fit and function as far as racking etc. Have not fired yet. The MR920 frame fits my hand much better is why I’m asking. Thanks

    1. Jessica Roe says:

A DR920P slide will function just fine on an MR920 frame.

Can I replace the trigger on my DR920P with a Glock Timney or Pyramid trigger? Can I also replace the guide rod with the heavy Tungsten guide rod made for Glock. If I can, do I need to replace the springs too? Thank you

    1. Jessica Roe says:

While aftermarket parts meant to fit Gen 4 Glocks will fit in our guns, we cannot guarantee function and we cannot extend warranty coverage on guns that have been modified in their function.
