Shadow Systems Looks Back on a Year of Significant Growth and Change

PLANO, TEXAS – January 10, 2021

American handgun manufacturer Shadow Systems is looking back on 2021 and catching their breath after a period of intense growth at the company. Early in the year, the company moved into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with ten times the square footage versus their previous location. This facility change has allowed Shadow Systems to continue to further vertically integrate their manufacturing.  In support of this expansion and entry into new markets, the company staff quadrupled over the course of the year.

The engineering team at Shadow Systems has also grown significantly in 2021, allowing the company to launch three new pistols during the year with many new product releases staged for 2022. The company was awarded a utility patent for their multi-footprint optic mounting system and several with several additional patents utility patents for new designs in both domestic and international markets.

With rapid growth comes additional responsibility to continue to produce the high-quality products for which Shadow Systems is known. Shadow Systems has quintupled the size of their Quality Team and implemented manufacturing best practices from across multiple industries. Shadow Systems has invested in cutting edge QC equipment for ultra-precise, automated measurement of critical component features.

In 2020, Shadow Systems began contracting with Law Enforcement agencies. The year 2021 saw significant expansion in this vertical, with the nearly 100 agencies nationwide now approving and/or directly issuing Shadow Systems pistols to their officers. To support this effort, Shadow Systems launched a dedicated LEO/Mil salesforce and support staff, a LEO/Mil focused website (www.shadowsystemsdefense.com), and a new direct purchase program for officers and servicemembers, called Patriot + Protector.

To support the growth of their dealer network, Shadow Systems has added a new Dealer Support Team to their staffing. This team sits between Sales and Service to offer dealers and distributors a direct line for any questions, issues, or concerns. The company is eager to deploy the support team to any dealer who desires support and training for company product.  This team can be reached at any time by dealers and distributors by emailing dealersupport@shadowsystemscorp.com

The company would like to sincerely thank all the industry and end user customers who have been a part of building the Shadow Systems brand.
